MB Atego “Chassis Cabine”

The Mercedes Atego 12t “Chassis (short) Cab” is available in 4 wheelbases (3560, 4160, 4760 and 5360mm) 4 maximum body lengths (5400, 6300, 7300 and 8299mm) and 4 engine types (115kW / 156HP, 130kW / 177HP, 160kW / 218HP and 175kW / 238HP). We choose the 12t class because this is the most delivered application for ThermoVans
Due to the close cooperation with Mercedes-Benz we can realize the most various solutions for you. We supply and assemble the desired body and Transport Refrigerator unit.

Our standard bodywork (Cool, Cool/Freeze or Freeze version) is of the brand ISONORT. We install a DENSO Transport Refrigeration machine. The specification of these products can be found on the webpage “Products” of this website. Your Mercedes-Benz dealer will be happy to help you to discuss and select the right solution for you usage.

In the “detailed information” below you will find an overview of some sample versions. Choose your desired version, after which you find indication of the required cooling performance depending on the version and your usage. (Bodyclass, number of door opening per hour, etc.)
Based on the calculated required cooling performace, choose from the advised DENSO refrigeration system.

Required Cooling Performance: (According DIN 8959)

Entirely dependent on the choice of insulated body. With choice of insulated body we mean the dimensions and insulation value (K-value) of this insulated body. Some examples for your reference as follows:
